Nova Meditech Laboratory, Mangaluru

Nova Meditech Private Limited was established in 1998 and since then has grown steadily. The first state-of-science clinical laboratory was started at Mangalore in September 1998. A branch was opened at Bajpe, 20 kms from Mangalore in March 2000. On 1st January 2001, a new Metabolic Diseases Laboratory was opened in Mangalore, being first of its kind in Karnataka State.

The parent laboratory in Mangalore has two separate sections for Biochemical and Microbiological investigations.

The Clinicxal Investigations Division with Biochemistry, Microbiology and Pathology Sections is located at the Light House Condominium, Light House Hill Road, Mangalore - 575001. It is a fully air-conditioned laboratory equipped with the state-of-the-art biochemical analyser 'Acto', based on a computer with Pentium processor.

Every test is quality controlled to ensure highest reliability. All tests are done by experienced and fully trained laboratory technicians under the direct supervision of Mr. Aravind Rao M.Sc., Biochemist and Managing Director.

All biochemical tests are done using reagents of highest quality, without compromise. All microbiological tests, including cultures are done in this laboratory with all necessary precautions to avoid contamination.

The Specialties Division is located at City Plaza, Kudmul Ranga Rao Road, Kodialbail, Mangalore, Balmatta Road. It also has the pathology and haematology sections.
